I really love visiting Chinese temples when I travel. I find a sense of familiarity and calmness when I visit. During the recent Spring Festival/Chinese New Year I was in Kuala Lumpur and decided to visit Thean Hou Temple, a stunning temple and full of celebrations.
I’m trying to teach myself photography during my school breaks. This trip was about aperture and framing. These photos are not edited except for the occasional crop. I’ve still a lot to learn, yes – some are a little too bright! I love black and white photography.
These photos are the temple itself where I’m trying to get the colours vibrant – might have over done it!

I really love black and white photography and these are a selection of my favourite.

A lovely visit and totally recommend.
