The Marble Mountains are located in Da Nang. It was impossible to miss them as we drove into the city from Hoi An. There are, I think, 5 marble and limestone hills and each is named after the five elements. We visited one of the hills, opting to take the glass elevator up (totally recommend with the heat). There a lot of steps to climb even with taking the elevator, I recommend taking lots of water and snacks. Make sure to have a hat or even better a shade umbrella. I was surprised by the number of caves and the shrines within the caves. The heat got the better of me and I didn’t see in every cave but totally enjoyed the visit.
