I think what I have enjoyed and really appreciated as I look back over the past 15 months is that I have visited places I never thought I would. Baku is most definitely one of those places. I found myself there attending a professional learning workshop and wow – what a place. I think a real highlight was looking out over the Caspian Sea.
Baku is a beautiful city with an amazing history. I had an afternoon to explore and discovered some interesting places, from the carpet museum to stunning architecture.
