Pisa, Italy

Pisa was one of the last stops in Italy back in July. Staying in Florence meant it was an easy day trip via train. I’d recommend going early as it was super busy! The most amusing part really is watching people taking the classic photo of holding the Tower of Pisa up!

The botanic gardens are worth a visit, quiet and relaxing away from the huge amount of people. This is the first university botanical garden in world. Established in 1543 by Luca Ghini

Paolo Savi is regarded as one of the most important Italian scientists of the 19th Century. He was an internationally reknown zoologist, geologist and museologist and more.
