Wellington is a fantastic capital city – especially when the sun is shining. It can be one of the windiest cities in the world! I combined work and fun on this trip.
First up, co-presenting two workshops for beginning teachers on Connected Curriculum Learning Design framework. The CCLD is a framework for integrating curriculum using a range of pedagogical approaches (developed as part of my doctoral research).
Next up, was some time exploring Paekākāriki, a short drive up the coast. Beautiful sea walks, amazing cafes, and interesting art galleries.
It’s always worth a walk along the Wellington waterfront. Explore the cafes, shops, art galleries and of course Te Papa.
